Sweet as Lemonade ☆ CottageCutz

Image
Welcome back crafty friends! I decided to make a box card this week for the CottageCutz blog .  I like them because they are easier than they look and you can fit more dies/images on them to create cute scenes and really gives your recipient a fun surprise!  ☺  I've used several brand new sets from the  Flowers & More Release  -- which are all  30% off  for a limited time!  I also used a few more dies not from this release, and the cute girl is one I drew quite a few years ago for my own digital collection (pd 2015; not currently available) CottageCutz Dies I used: Lemonade Stand   Fresh Lemonade Phrases   Lemon Branch   Fence & Grass     Arch Sun     Sweet w/Shadow     Christmas Puppies die   Nested Wacky Stitched Rectangles Design Steps: 1.  I cut all my cardstock and patterned paper pieces: Pink Cardstock: • 4-7/8" square • (2)  2-1/2" x 1-1/4" - scored 1/2" in on each end;  mitered top flaps White Cardstock: • die cut the largest  Nested Wacky Stitc

Tea Time Shaker ♡ La-La Land Crafts

Image
It's Inspiration Friday and I have a 'very merry unbirthday' shaker card that's a touch of elegance and a bit of cutesy but really, you can't go wrong in Wonderland, am I right?!  ☺ We are having a ball with the Wonderland Release at La-la Land Crafts!  For the flowers in the top right corner, I cut them out of one of the papers from the Wonderland paper pack .  Then I cut each individual flower apart, glued the largest one down and popped the other 2 up on foam dots.  I then went over some of the petals with Wink of Stella for a shimmery effect.  (Couldn't capture that in my photo). For the smaller tea cup, I used the Wonderland Stencil set to add the roses, then I sponged some Gathered Twigs to tone down the white cardstock.  The rest is pretty self-explanatory --- the Tea Pot and Tea cup are both shakers!   I've been trying different photo set-ups lately to see what I like best and have more consistency on my IG.  Some settings just don't work for s

Z-Fold Farm Scene ☆ CottageCutz

Cow's it goin' friends?!!  I have another CottageCutz card this week. ☺ In honor of their  HUGE President's Day Sale  going on right now, I've created a fun   Double Z-Fold card using lots of dies that you can find on SALE --- up to  83% OFF !!!!    This card was so much fun to make!!  We've lived right next door to an upscale ranch for 26 years, and have been lucky that they keep only the baby calves and their mamas in the field that borders our fence.  They're so cute when they frolic and play.  I just HAD to buy a few cow dies! DESIGN STEPS: 1 .  I cut a piece of light blue cardstock 4-1/4" x 11" - then scored at 5-1/2" and 2-3/4" (card base). 2.   I cut  a piece of lime green cardstock to 4-1/4 x 11" - then scored at 5-1/2" and 2-3/4" (grass). 3. I cut the lime green panel into (2) pieces of 2-1/4 x 11.  One of the panels I cut off the 2-3/4" end to make it a 2-1/4" x 8-1/4" piece. 4.   I die cut the tops of

Wonderland Release Day 3 ♡ La-La Land Crafts

I think I saved my best for last -- for this week's release inspiration anyways ;)  How FUN is this shaker card featuring Queen of Hearts Marci ?!!!  I love this rose frame stencil too - it's from the Wonderland Stencil Set.   I actually didn't mean to throw in lime green, but I started out with a different card background that had green in it, so I colored her with a li'l bit of green, then I decided to change up my whole background, so I colored one of the Chess dies lime green.  I think it works ok with all the black, red and white?
