Thanks a TON ☆ CottageCutz

Hi there crafty friends! As promised in Saturday's post, I'm back with a tutorial for a  Vertical Easel Card with Floating Shaker !  Today's is the same style card, but with a different theme.  I realized this weekend that I don't have enough "Thank You" cards, so I used the  CottageCutz Festive Elephant  from the   Christmas 1 Release  (which are all 30% off right now!)...  I simply left off his Santa hat and tree and added a heart ♥ I also used the  Thanks w/Shadow die , and then I spelled out "a ton" on the far right strip that holds the easel in place using the  Stitched Alphabet die .  A few other dies are listed in my tutorial (and shown at the end of my post).   Before I get to the tutorial, I'll share a few more project photos so you get a good idea of what we're making today!   -Here's the front in closed position- -Inside- -View from the top as it is standing in easel position- Trust me - this is so EASY to make, you don't

Welcome friends!   I'm on the CottageCutz blog today (filling in for Mary) with a fun-fold card FUR the puppy lover in us all!  This fold is called a Vertical Easel card (with a pop out shaker!) and I'm going to have the full tutorial for this, along with another version of this card right here on the blog this Monday! For now, enjoy this cute eye candy 😊 This card features the   Christmas Puppies   die from the   Christmas 1 Release  (which are all 30% off right now!).   I also used a few other dies as shown at the end of my post.   -Front when closed / pulled out of envelope- Aren't these puppies ADORABLE!   I used the  Stitched Alphabet die  for the letters. -Inside- The sentiment is printed off computer.  For the paw, I used a heart from the  Stitched Hearts  and the raindrops from the  Stitched Sun, Clouds & Umbrella die .  You can see on the far left, there's a white panel for writing a message. -View from the top- The top folds and tucks under the bone panel

Jolly Valentine Gnome ☆ CottageCutz

Happy Monday crafters! I have a cute slimline Valentine card I made using the Jolly   Santa Gnome die from the Christmas 1 Release ,  which I made into a Valentine Gnome ♥  I simply left off his white trim on his outfit, and exchanged the present & candy cane in his hands to hearts!  Getting creative with your dies and using for other seasons than what they were made for definitely gets you more bang for your buck!   I used some cute papers from Doodlebug Designs behind the heart cut-outs. All the CottageCutz dies I used on this card are also linked at the end of my post ☺ DESIGN STEPS: • I die cut the Heart XO Windows Slimline die from light teal cardstock. • I decided I wanted a li'l bit of a pink border so I cut my card base at 7-1/2" x 8-3/4" and scored the 7-1/2" side in half at 3-3/4" • I cut each of 3 patterned papers at 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" • I added tape behind each of the 3 patterned papers and attached to card front as pictured below (eve

January Kit-of-the-Month ♡ La-La Land Crafts

Welcome and happy Friday! It's time to reveal the January Kit of the Month at La-La Land Crafts!  It's a Dragon Princess theme with cool Castle Builder dies and more!  I've created 2 cards using this kit... For my first card, I created a 3D card that pops out 1/2" and folds flat for mailing.  I die cut the castle from glittery light pink cardstock and used lots of foam strips to give dimension (see photo below).   I also used the Cave die for the large dragon and popped the cave out with foam strips as well. ☺ This is a 5" x 7" card.   And for my 2nd card, I created a Valentine version (suggestion from my sister) in pink and red.  I do realize I got the white "star" on her crown crooked---OOPS!  But overall, I think this one is my favorite.  The rest of the Design Team did a FANTASTIC job with this kit so you've got plenty of inspiration :)  What's Included in this January 2023 Kit-of-the-Month: -Stamps- • Dragon Princess Marci Rubber Stam
