Mod Marci - You Color My World

Image
Good morning friends!!    This week’s inspiration theme at La-La Land Crafts   is R A I N B O W S which inspired this card.  I colored up Mod Marci with Copics.  The rainbow paper is so bright and pretty.  I am thinking it’s by Echo Park and I added machine stitching and twine from the Twinery. You might wonder about a GREEN guitar… but my daughter Maddy actually plays a green guitar!  *Ü*  Let me see if I can find a photo for you.  Well, not the best photo, but here’s an “in between gigs” shot…     Have a great week!!

Amazing Birthday Pressies from my DD’s

Hello again!  I know I’ve already posted today (you can see that below this post if you missed my baby gift ensemble ) but today was my birthday and I just HAVE to show you what my daughters made me!!  Some of you know Carly from Sketches by Carly , she’s 13 and getting so very talented in the craft department!!  Look at this GORGEOUS mailbox she made me!  All those paper roses she made herself and the leaves too!  She took a bone folder to make the veins in the leaves and then sponged em.  While I was out running an errand yesterday, she used my Cricut to cut out the letters of my name for the other side of the mailbox: She colored up this cute swinging girl from The Paper Shelter and hung her from a tree limb (a sizzix die) and more smaller rolled roses. Here’s a close-up of her rolled roses and leaves: As if that weren’t enough, she also made me this adorabear card!!  *Ü* and my youngest daughter Maddy made me a super cute (and very CREATIVE) card too!  Look what she mad

Speaking of births…  today is my birthday!!  ♪ ♫ Happy Birthday to ME… ♫ ♪    Thank you to all of you who come to visit my blog and leave me blessings in that comment box *Ü*  I treasure your words and like I always say… makes this blogging thing worth the time.

The JOY of the Lord is My Strength

Hello!  For today's card I decided to try a word-shaped card - the word I chose is of course JOY. You can make any word you'd like, and if it's a longer word, you can always glue the ends of cs. together to make a longer strip!   I can't imagine that JOY can exist without Love as God is the giver of true joy, and... God is Love!  So instead of making the "O" in Joy, I made it a heart.  :)      Have a wonderful week friends ~ go Ink Something *Ü*
