Slimline Magic Wallet Card

Slim line Magic Wallet card fits into a business envelope! *Christmas music playing in background* There's only ONE $20 bill in this card, but it "Magically" switches sides each time it opens! "The sentiment also switches sides!   VIDEO TUTORIAL I followed this one by Jan Mansor Brown https://youtu.be/ULB4TY6-oEY for the mechanics of this card - except I changed measurements to fit a slim line card. Here are those ... • BASE PIECES - 4 pcs of same color cardstock cut at 3 5/8" x 8 5/8" • INSIDE (dsp) PIECES - 2 pcs of dsp cut at 3 3/8" x 8 3/8" • OUTSIDE (dsp) PIECES - IF you want to use just 1 full-length pc of dsp for outsides, you'd cut 2 pcs of dsp cut at 3 3/8" x 8 3/8" as above ---- IF you want the outside to have 2 dsp's like mine, I cut 2 pcs (In good taste - upper) at 3 3/8" x 5 3/8", and 2 pcs (Painted Seasons - lower) at 3 3/8" x 2 3/4"   Sorry for the shaky video, I had to hold my camera with

Multi-Layered Cube Card

Ok y'all, those who know me know I love a card challenge - especially fancy folds!  So when I saw this gorgeous card of Lavonne Schwendeman's I had to try it.  And as impressive as this style of card is, I prolly won't make another of these for a long while as it took me quite a long time to make.  But it was worth it for my daughter who's birthday is in a couple of weeks!  Maybe I'll make a (fall/winter) one for my other daughter who's birthday is next May, LOL!     I love how the sentiment and larger butterflies actually POP OUT away from the card base!   Here's a view from the top-ish.... The "Lovely Wishes" foam words are pink foiled on the front and are shiney when the light hits.  They are attached to clear window sheets that are then glued to the cardstock in front of them.   The flourishes were pretty flimsy, so I cut out 3 of each and glued together to make them more sturdy. Each size of butterfly is embossed with a different texture - th

Triple Layer Stamping Technique

This is my first time trying this fun technique.  You just cut several pieces of white c.s. at 4 x 5 1/4";  3 x 4 1/4";  and 2 x 3 1/4" -  and cut your colored cardstock at 8 1/2  x 5 1/2";  3 1/4" x 4 1/2" and 2 1/4" x 3 1/2".  Then I used temporary tape to attach all my layered white pieces (w/out colored mats) and then stamped all over it.  Then I took the layers apart and used permanent tape to layer the mats behind each piece and made sure to line up the pattern as you go.  I used dimensional behind the 2 smaller pieces of colored cardstock only.  I will try this technique again - it was lots of fun.  :)       ♥  ♥  ♥ Stamps:  Stampin' Up!
