Poinsettia Wreath Easel

Image
Hello, hello!  For those who celebrate Halloween, I wish you a fun & safe holiday!    My card, however, is showcasing the new Christmas Release Part 2 at the Scrapping Cottage !  I'm loving the non-traditional colors of pink, teal, gold and white for the holidays! The star of the show on my card today is the new Poinsettia Floral die that I made into a wreath! And of course it folds flat to fit inside an envelope! ☺ I  LOVE  these new dies from the   Christmas Part 2 Release   and there's a great variety with a whopping 36 dies in this collection!     There's also a  Christmas 1 Release    so there's a ton of options and variety from cute snowmen to gingerbread kids to rustic wreaths, traditional poinsettias and more! The best part... all the individual dies from  both  of these releases are  30% off  for a limited time!   CUTTING & SCORING: Thick white cardstock:   (1)  4" x 10-1/2" and scored the longest side at 2-5/8" and 5-1/4" (2)  die

October Club Kit - Pt. 2

I hope you're having a blessed Sunday! ☺ You've probably seen lots of Fall-themed cards using this month's Club Kit, but it's also perfect for winter scenes as well!  Here's Marci with her fur-baby playing in a PILE of  FUN SNOW ! ❆ I honestly couldn't decide whether to add Marci to this adorable doggy card because I didn't want to cover up those PRETTY TREES , but I actually really like how she turned out, so I did.  So... here's a pic of the background before I added her ☺ I am no pro with the Copics and have never taken a class, but I really think she turned out CUTE!  I did make a couple of mistakes on her... and nobody likes to admit their mistakes, but one of them  turned out to be a HAPPY MISTAKE so I'll share ☺ Her hair started out dark blonde/golden color, but it kinda clashed with all the pink on my card, so with a li'l help of the blender pen, I covered it up with greys.  And mistake #2 (the Happy mistake!!)... the top of the hat st

Happy Monday crafty peeps! ☺  I'm on the CottageCutz Blog today with a fun scene card!  I'll admit, this may be a bit busier than I had planned, but I couldn't help myself... I LOVE these cute dies from the Christmas Part 2 Release !  There's also a Christmas 1 Release    so there's a ton of options and variety from cute snowmen to gingerbread kids to rustic wreaths, traditional poinsettias and more! The best part... all the individual dies from both of these releases are 30% off for a limited time!   I started by choosing my dies:  The Snowy Village Buildings , the Snowy Village Accessories ,   the Snowmen Friends  and the "joy" is from the Peace & Joy Wreath from this Christmas 2 Release.  I also used some dies from the shop that were previously released such as Hills Slimline and Snowflake Set . Then I thought I'd pop over to SCS to see if the weekly color challenge ( CC918 ) would work with my card and once I pictured olive for trees,

Happy Friday inky friends!! We are still having fun with the new release over at La-La Land Crafts !  This is a stamp set I haven't used yet called Special Delivery and it's fun for anytime of year as it's not holiday related like the other sets!  I love that this stamp set has accessories you can choose to use like a couple of hats, some boots, and lots of sentiments for these 2 lovable ostriches! I chose the mail delivery ostrich and paired it with the new Layered Envelope Die , as well as the Large Banner Die .  This color palette is not my norm, but I was inspired by the soft pink/blush papers in the Here Comes Santa paper pack .  I had it all put together except the Heart Wreath and I thought it needed a li'l something extra and I chose black to tie in the color of his feathers.  PRODUCTS USED: Special Deliver Clear Stamp Set Here Comes Santa Paper Pack Large Banner Die Layered Envelope Die Scalloped Sentiment Labels Heart Wreath Die Stitched Nested Hearts Die

Autumn is Calling in this month's Club Kit from La-La Land Crafts! I LOVE this Grateful Paper Pack - gorgeous rich colors and Fall patterns [♥]  So in an effort to get as much as I can out of it... I cut a rectangle out of the middle of my largest layer before mounting my Scalloped Rectangle and you can see from my photo below that I have a nice sized Rounded Stitched Rectangle to use on another project ☺  I cut the tree tops from smooth white cardstock and blended Distress Inks (colors are listed after my photos) using blending brushes.  Then I misted them with water for some distress effect -- LOVE!!  I really think this would be a pretty card by itself!  But in an effort to show you this month's kit,... I had to cover up a li'l bit of my trees. But I think you'll agree.... Autumn Marci and the Pile of Fun critters are super ADORABLE♥♥♥ PRODUCTS USED: October 2022 Club LLLC Kit Grateful Paper Pack Large Banner Die Rounded Stitched Rectangles Die Scalloped Rectangl
