Vroom, Vroom...

Biker Bella's Hittin' the Road The first person I thought of to send this to is my mom. She's not the typical "Biker Babe," but she and my dad have been doing lots of biking trips these last couple years on the motorcycle! She actually has black leather threads too, but I don't have a picture. They've traveled across a few states for vacation last summer, and lots of shorter trips to the coast to go camping. Anyway, mom's birthday is in July, so I sometimes like to do red/white/blue cards for her. The flower "spokes" on the front and both wheel rims are colored with my clear sparkly gellyroll pen, and the muffler and other parts are colored with the grey sparkly pen...but that's so hard to see in this photo. Maybe if you clicked to enlarge it might show it. Did you notice my bow? Uh-huh... doin' a little "Melissa Bove" action there, LOL!!! Hey, I'm trying!!! Okay, before I go, here's a picture of my parents with th

Paper Pretties Weekend

Image
I had a very productive day today!! After lunch I cleared the table off and got busy on my goal to finally ink up my Paper Pretties set, Bunny Slippers Sophia . There are 3 different sentiments in this set, and I wanted to use them for variety... guess I was on a roll because I actually got 4 totally different cards made--Woohoo!! I used watercolor pencils and aqua painter to color images, and paper pieced her robe on most cards. I also used different Spellbinders dies. The rest is pretty self-explanatory, but if you have questions, please feel free to ask! :) My favorites out of the 4 are the 2 middle ones. SO...which is your fave??

Hockey Riley in Green

Image
Happy Friday!! I was making this hockey Riley card for no reason...just cause I had the stamp out and wanted to color him in green ☺ But I don't have any sentiments to go with him, so I just used an SU! one from the Riveting set. The green layer is cuttlebugged with the Happy Birthday folder, and I added Dazzling Diamonds to the ice--both are hard to see in this photo, but you can click to enlarge it if you really want to, heehee. I don't really have a use for him, so I added him to my Etsy store ( hint hint ) LOL. So, Kathy...what happened to our "Sister Challenge" this week...hmmmm??? LOL. I know you are without kids and husband this week, so you have plenty of time to get some cards made Missy!! Ah, oh well...she's prolly out shopping! Heck, if I was home without my family for a few days, there's no telling what I might be doing! Lol.  Have a great day...now go Ink Something ! ☺

Easter Blessings

HeLLo! This is my 2nd card this week using Tilda with Lamb, along with the little chicks stamp...aren't they just adorable? I can't get enough of this sweet Tilda...and it's a good thing cause I need to make more cards to send out for Easter and I'm running out of time...eeeks! Well, if you don't get an actual card from me in the mailbox, please know that I'm wishing all my reader friends a very blessed Easter next week! This sketch was made up by Lim for the Spoon Full of Sugar challenge this week. Isn't it an awesome sketch? So much going on, but I love it...gave me a chance to show off some fun papers. I paper pieced her dress and watercolored the rest of her and the chicks. Thanks for looking!  Happy crafting :)
