Proverbs 14:26 A Tri-Shutter Card

Image
Hello friends...  Happy Wednesday!!  Today I'm here sharing my last project as the May Guest Designer for Word Art Wednesday .  This month has just zoomed by!!  I'm so thankful for Karen for inviting me to join the team this month ... was wonderful and such an honor... and it also got me away from the 'puter and into my craft room which I've missed!  :) This week's FREE DIGI is Proverbs 14:26 that I used on my tri-shutter fold card.  I was itchin' to do another one of these for a while now, so I decided this was the week.  Here's a couple more views  I added a li'l tag up top to write my recipients name or a simple "For You" and a larger pre-printed label on the inside red layer for writing my personalized message.  The layered flower on the front was cut from real Cedar Wood paper and Spellbinders dies.  The rest of the paper & butterflies etc. was from a card kit. Hop on over to the challenge blog to see who are fabby sponsors

Hey there :)  Hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend!  We had a great one!  My hubs had the house to himself while I took my girls out of town for a couple days... our annual "Girls night out" and had so much fun.  We shopped, went out to dinner, stopped at Goody's candy store, watched a movie at our hotel suite, went swimming for a bit, went back and watched a couple more movies.  We took our Jamberry Nails Wraps but got too tired to do them, so I'll have to share those soon ;)   The next morning, I took them to the Fun Center arcade, then went out for lunch and came home.  Awesome memories with my 2 lovely daughters :) So today I'm sharing with you the hairstyles I did on my girls before school today.  I'm not promoting the movie "Hunger Games" however if you've ever seen it, you might recognize this first style called the Katnis Reaping Braids, which Katnis wore when the kids went to find out who was to be selected for the "games.&qu

WAW - 2 Thessalonians 3:3

A new Word Art Wednesday challenge begins today and this week you can pick up a free digi based on 2 Thessalonians 3:3.  Here's what I created using a photo of my husband baptizing my youngest daughter, Maddy.   I cut the Crosses and Fancy Labels using Spellbinders dies out of real Cherry Wood Paper from McMahon Five Designs.  The scallopy borders are from La-La Land Crafts, and the fancy oval is from another Spellbinders set.  The Ribbon was a hand-dyed gift from my friend Diane, and the papers are by Lilybee Designs, also at McMahon Five Designs. Hope you'll pop over to the Word Art Wednesday blog to see the Design Team's creations and sponsors and enter yourself!! :)  Have a great week.
