Hello crafty friends!
It's Day 2 of the Spring Release at La-La Land Crafts and today's card features those cute mischievous kids from You're the Goat rubber stamp set.
You might recognize these goats as I used them in yesterday's card as well, but today I'm also showcasing the NEW Open Book with Spines die set, the Spring Flowers Stencil Set where I stenciled directly onto a piece of wood paper from the new Wood Textures I paper pack. I originally stencil yellow daisies with orange centers however when dried, they faded right into the wood paper, so I went over them with carved pumpkin D.O. ink and they pop more.
The paper showing in the Open Book is from the brand new Countryside paper pack. My pink daisies and the Pretty Butterflies are also brand new. The Clothesline die* and the barrel and tin can (from the Backyard Elements set*) are re-release dies from a past Club of the Month set.
For my book, I curved the pages a bit and added extra pages by adding foam strips in between for depth.
***TIP: if you run your die/cardstock back thru the machine (after cutting) with the embossing mat, it will show more detail on the die cuts such as light emboss lines in center of book and around the edges.
