Hello crafty friends!
I made a pull tab slider card for my mom for Mother's Day featuring the April 2024 Kit of the Month at LLLC. I was inspired by my new colors of Distress Oxide Ink which were Saltwater Taffy, Salvaged Patina, and Shaded Lilac. ☺
Lift the Tab at top to pour the Teapot
On the front of my card I stenciled the Lace doily in Saltwater Taffy D.O. ink and Salvaged Patina on the corners. But after I stenciled my teapot, I decided I wanted to make the bg a li'l more subtle to make the teapot and images stand out, so I added a piece of vellum over it. I added glue under the vellum where my images are so no glue would show thru.
I then die cut just the short end of the Rounded Stitched Rectangle at the top so my pull tab wouldn't stick out too much as it's already a 6" card. My front layer is cut at 5-3/4" so cutting an opening for the tab worked great!! I followed Tamara Dalziel's video on the LLLC channel HERE to create the mechanism and pull tab.
