Sparkly Princess Shadow Box ♡ La-La Land Crafts

Hi crafty friends!

This week we are still showcasing the Wizard of Oz release and I decided to make a pretty shadowbox using Glinda from Over the Rainbow Clear Stamp Set I know she's called "The Good Witch of the North" in the movie, but I think the word "witch" has a negative connotation to it, so I prefer to call her a Princess... at least for this project ☺

I followed Alexandra's tutorial for making this shadowbox a box instead of a card.  I figure I can't easily mail a shadowbox card w/out it getting smashed, so I might as well make it a box with room to write something on the back to hand deliver in a box card envelope and I really like the nice finished look -- Thank you Alexandra for your excellent tutorial!!

I stenciled the pink poppies and die cut it with the largest of the Double Stitched Squares set.  The gingham on the sides is the same as the back (from Tales of Oz paper pack), however the other side of the gingham paper was showing thru in those li'l openings you see in the corners, so I glued a piece of the shiny silver cardstock to the front side before finishing the box assembly.

The shoes were die cut from a pale pink glittered cardstock, and I added some sequins for the bows.
