When I started making my card for today, I thought it was going to be the most CAS card I've ever made -- super simple, just a cute li'l tiny parrot, but I think I REALLY like how this came out! I don't think it's "too simple" or over-done -- Just the right amount. What do you think?
Oh ya... it's kinda hard to see it, but I took 3 strands of natural twine and braided it to resemble a chain to hang the cage from. I also embossed my "talk to me" sentiment on red cardstock and drew a frame with white gel pen. To give the cage a 3D effect, I added foam strip to the bottom, and it gave the cage/hanger some slack and taped the chain to the back. I also curved it by running it thru my fingers while bending it slightly. Now it poufs out in the middle. It's a subtle thing, but noticeable in real life. LOL! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
