It's day 5 of the NEW RELEASE and today's card features the adorable pandas from the Hey, Sugar! clear stamp set and some of the fun new dies from this CANDY SHOPPE release!
My camera didn't pick up on it this time, but there is an acetate sheet covering my candy jar window display.
To make my jars into shakers....
These candy jar dies were not meant to create shakers but they do have some li'l highlight cut lines inside them, so I followed those with my craft knife and was able to cut the insides out.
I also cut the whole jar dies out of my blue/green inked background layer (excluding the lid, just the jar) and I glued an acetate sheet behind that layer. I then added my jar die-cuts back into the cut out section (on top of the acetate sheet) and glued my lids on. Then I added some 1/8" foam strips on the back around the jars and added some candies (shaker elements) and attached a scrap piece to lock in the candies. Ta-da!! Candy shakers!
This CANDY SHOPPE die is also fun to mix and match colored cardstock and LOVE that it has a shadow! You can also use just the inside letters separately if you want to separate the words or make up new words 😍
