I hope your summer is going swimmingly! ;) Our theme this week is MERMAIDS!
I made another one of those BENDY cards that are super easy to make! It looks like a shadow box, BUT... this actually folds flat just by pressing straight down and it slides into an envelope.
Design Steps:
1) I cut a white card base that is 6" x 12" and scored at 6" for a top folding base.
2) I glued a piece of 6" square polka-dot patterned paper from the Celebration Paper Pack onto the front of that card.
3) I then cut another piece of white cardstock (thick) at 6" x 8" and scored the 8" edge at 1/2" and 1" on each end.
4) Next, I glued a piece of patterned paper (with the glittery hearts, same paper pack) onto the center part of that white piece from step 3.
5) I then die cut the largest die from the Under the Sea die set from the middle (of both layers)
6) I folded my score lines and added Scor Tape to just the outter flaps of each end and lined them up with the right and left edges of my card front. When it stands, the front POPS OUT and makes a bendy frame! How COOL is that?!
7) I then decorated my card by adding some gold sequins to the front, some colored foiled cardstock fishies (from the UTS die) to the inside.... stamped, colored and fussy cut Mermaid Molli.... and die cut my Skinny Letters and splash (from the Pool die) and added white highlights... done!
