I stamped the gingham background (Just For You stamp set) onto the white cardstock and then sponged some of the same vintage photo Distress Oxide Ink over it to tone down the white. I simply cut a slit in middle of the c.s. (at 2-1/8") and bent the middle down at a diagonal.
For the overalls, I wanted to give them a bit more texture, although I didn't have the "jeans" bg stamp or a stencil close to that, so I used the On the Road stencil and some tumbled glass Distress Oxide Ink. Didn't really like the look, so tried to tone it down by spritzing it with water a few times, but alas, didn't work.~ but I kinda like it? I didn't repeat the process on the pocket or the straps. LLLC does sell a stamp set that coordinates with the Three Pockets die set, but I don't have that (or at least yet! I did just order it though as these pockets are so versatile), so I simply used my white gel pen to add stitches all around.
I love the tools die! So perfect for Father's Day! I cut them out of holographic cardstock, then again from a sand color. I then took the handles and swiped them across the vintage photo Distress Oxide Ink pad.
I found these cool snaps for the straps in my stash. They are super cool for this card, don'tcha think? They each say something different... these were the only 2 I had left, out of about 8 in the pack. These say "wisdom" (perfect for a dad card) and "promise". That's it for today!

Happy Inking!
