Measurements & Instructions:
Card Base = 8.5" x 5.5" and scored at 4 1/4"
DSP for front layer = 5 1/4" x 4"
DSP for inside = 5 1/4" x 4"
Mechanism base = 2 1/2" x 4" and scored along 4" side at 1", 2", & 3"
Mechanism tab = 3/4" x 2 1/4" and scored at 1 1/4"
- Adhere your top dsp layer onto card front by taping/gluing only along outter edges. Do not glue down middle portion.
- Adhere your inside layer to bottom half of inside.
- Center your die to the front and die cut through the card front only (through the dsp and front of card base)
- Glue/tape just one scored section closest to the end of the 4" mechanism piece and place glued end just south of the scored line of the card base.
- Fold the mechanism in half, bringing the loose end up and matching the edge with the part you just glued down. Add a line of glue or tape just to the top half (furthest away from you) of the first scored section.
- Bring your card front down onto the glued mechanism.
- With the fold closest to you, add tape/glue to the backside of the longest half of the tab (2 1/4" x 3/4") and place the extended portion edge up to just past the scored line on the larger mechanism.
- With the scored tab folded in half, add glue/tape to the top of that shortest half of tab.
- With card closed, line up the solid colored circle shape you cut out (of the card front) and place it back in the cut-out section, adhering it to the glued tab.
- Adhere your image (cut smaller than your original shape), or you can decorate this shape as you wish.
- Add finishing touches, sentiments, embellishments etc.
Really easy to add a wow factor to an otherwise normal card fold. :)
