I just love the look of black and white photos for scrapbooking, but because they are more expensive, I don't use them too much. I wish I would've gotten more of them when the girls were babies. Anyway, this page uses the retired set "Fruit Medley". This is just one of the 2-page layout.

I'm a card maker not a scrapbooker, but I love pics and have 4 kids! One of these days I must scrapbook. Your pages are fresh and inspiring. If you want more black & white, don't forget you can make copies in black and white for your scrapbook. Archivers does a super job, but you can use any office store like Fed ex. michellemallett@comcast.net

 Hello again!  I'm back with 2 more box cards using some brand new stamps and dies from the upcoming SU! Holiday mini catalog & SAB and a tutorial on how you can make these without using special dies! First I'll show you a card that uses special dies that make it super quick & easy to create the basic box base to showcase all your fun images, and then I will show you how you can make a very similar card without using the dies.  This is a fun new stamp set featured in the upcoming SU! Holiday Mini Catalog called "Penguin Place" - I bought the bundle, so it has a punch that goes with it to punch out the sitting/standing penguin outline, the white inner piece, and the feet.  I had to fussy cut the trees, gifts, hats & scarves and the sliding penguin.  This is one set I wish they had made a die set to match for all those smaller pieces.   The Box base is created with dies by  My Favorite Things  called " Outside the Box Level Up Die-namics ".  My

Melting Ice Cream Background Tutorial ♡ La-La Land Crafts

Hello crafty friends! Today's tutorial is a quick, easy & vibrant background that I thought would look perfect for a unicorn ice cream party (keeping in line with our "SWEETS" theme this week)!  PRODUCTS USED What's the Scoop? Stamp Set Paint Drip Border Die Pool Die  (the larger splash die) COPIC COLORS Greys:  N0, N1, N2, N3, N4 Pinks:  RV02, RV04 Yellows:  Y13, Y19 Greens:  YG03, YG13 Blues:  BG53, BG45 Purples:  V04, RV61 DISTRESS OXIDE INK COLORS: Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, Salty Ocean, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Picked Raspberry DESIGN STEPS: 1. I cut (2) pieces of smooth white cardstock at 5-1/4" x 4" 2.  Using blender brushes, I added ink in circular motions and being mindful of which colors would blend well together (yellow + blue = green / blue + pink = purple, etc) 3.  You don't have to fill the whole sheet on the 2nd piece as we'll be die cutting just the top part.  4.  Using a small sprayer, I misted water over
