Happy Friday everyone! I have some news that I'm super excited to share!! In addition to joining the Club La-La Land Crafts design team (in November), I was recently asked to join their Team Friday Design Team as well!! How FUN is that?! I honestly am still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor. Seriously, their design team is so talented and their products top-of-the-line, I feel very humbled and honored to have been invited to join this amazing team.☺
SO... my first project for 2022 La-La Land Crafts Team Friday is a card I made (a couple of weeks ago, actually) for my husband's birthday, which is on Christmas day! So I made this Shadow Box Card with traditional Christmas colors, and I just HAD to include this truck as he's a mechanic and hunter, so his pick-up is one of his treasures.... although his is not nearly this cute!! LOL ;)
Shadow Boxes are fun to make, and can be made the diy style by measuring and cutting BUT... I do have to say that this Shadow Box Die makes it SO EASY!! I've made them both ways... and this saves time and who doesn't appreciate anything that makes our crafting life a li'l easier, amiright?! lol
Hubby loved his card... he displayed it in our window sill by the Christmas tree this year - he's never done that before! And, I've gotta say... I did NOT set out to see how many different die-sets or products I could use in a single card, BUT.... this has got to be a record for me! WOW, but boy was it FUN! 😄
