For the Bride

Happy Wednesday!! There's a fun challenge posted at LaLa Land Crafts today, hosted by Jane of "Whoopsie Daisy" who would like us to made WHITE cards! White-on-White actually, where everything is white except your coloring of your image. I must admit I don't do white cards often at all, but they look so elegant! You must check out the DT's card samples at LaLa Land Crafts!

White reminded me of a wedding card, which I need soon as my nephew is getting married in August, so this will go to Sharon, my soon-to-be niece *Ü* I started a tradition of making bridal cards using pieces of my own veil. Of course I would never cut up my wedding dress, but I'm sure my veil will be so out-dated by the time my girls get married that they'll want their own veil. Remember THIS CARD -- I also used my veil for it and it went to my husband's niece a couple years ago. I used Princess LaLa and added Dazzling Diamonds for her tiara, dress, shoes, and edge of veil and white c.s. layer. I embossed the white c.s. first with the Swiss Dots folder and then ran it back through with a floral one and added 2-way glue around the edge and poured Dazzling Diamonds around to make a pretty border. Lots of pearls and a ribbon rose complete the card.

We'd love to see your white-on-white cards over at LaLa Land too! Come on over and join us =) One winner will win a $10 GC to the store for any rubber stamps you'd like and OH! The hostess this week used Happy Maya on her card which means that stamp is 10% OFF all week long!
