Happy 'Appreciate a Dragon Day'

Talk about wild and wacky holidays, huh? But we didn't make it up! No sir-y! But it IS fun to use wacky holidays for a card challenge, which is just what Joanna did for this week's challenge at KL Stampin N' Scrappin! Her challenge is
use images of dragons, or create a texture on your card that might resemble scales etc.
There are lots of great Cuttlebug folders out there that could work for this! But... if you don't have any dragon images or cb folders, then why not hop over to Dustin Pike's blog?!! Dustin is famous for his drawings of dragons...very CUTE ones I might add and I believe he has offered free digis of them on his blog too!

In case you didn't know, Dustin Pike is a new artist for High Hopes Stamps!! WOOOHOOO! Congrats Dustin *Ü* I'm excited because Kelly carries High Hopes stamps in the store (and just added a bunch of NEW ones!) ... and will soon be getting some of Dustin's stamps in!! He not only draws dragons, but LOTS of other super cute characters as well. You can see more here.

Ok, back to the challenge.... Hop on over to the KLSNS Blog to see all the great creations by our Design Team and then we would LOVE to see what you create! THREE players will be awarded a cute "TOP 3" blinky to place on their blog at the end of the challenge, so come on over and play along! You have until midnight EST on Friday, Jan. 22nd to enter.

MORE ABOUT MY CARD: I used this High Hopes stamp called "Lenny's Love Me Nots" along with some Basic Grey, "Indian Summer" paper.

WAYS TO SAVE: There's a GREAT SALE going on over at KLSNS right now. To make room for more High Hopes and other brands, Kelly has all Magnolias marked down really low AND if you use the coupon code "maggies" at check out, you can get an extra 20% OFF all Magnolias in store!! You can also get FREE Priority flat rate shipping on your order of $30 or more with coupon code JAN2010. Also new to the store is German Glass Glitter from Meyer Imports!

You are such a great artist and a terrific PR person (grabbin' your ways to save info for my blog -- figured you wouldn't mind)! I love this stamp, and I can't keep him on stock for the store. *sigh* he's a sweet one, and with your added watercoloring and great Indian summer paper even more adorable! Great job!! Hugs, Kel
